Jen's Midnight Kitchen ("we", "us") is a cooking-content account on Instagram (@jens_midnightkitchen) and this recipe website. This policy explains what we do with the limited information involved when you interact with our automated recipe replies.
When you comment a recipe keyword (for example ACAI) on one of our Instagram posts or reels, Meta's Instagram Platform notifies our system of that comment. To reply, we process:
We do not collect your email, phone number, contacts, password, or any information from your profile beyond the public comment you left. Our recipe website uses no advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.
Solely to fulfil what you asked for: to send you a one-time private reply (a direct message) with a link to the recipe you requested, and to post a short public reply to your comment. We do not use your information for advertising or profiling, and we do not send follow-up marketing messages unless you message us first.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. The messages are delivered through Meta's Instagram Platform under Meta's own Privacy Policy. Aside from Meta (which operates Instagram) and our hosting/automation infrastructure acting on our behalf, no third party receives your data.
We keep only minimal comment metadata for as long as needed to deliver the reply and to keep basic aggregate counts of how many recipes were sent. You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you.
Commenting is entirely voluntary — if you would rather not receive an automated reply, simply don't comment the keyword. To access or delete your data, or to opt out, contact us at jens_midnightkitchen@sncreativestudio.com. You can also manage or delete your comments and messages directly in the Instagram app.
Our content is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their information.
